Andreas SeelischMSC, BHSC (Hons) Audiologist, Reg. CASLPO Andreas graduated from Western University with an Bachelor or Health Sciences (Hons) in 2006 and a Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2008. He completed his thesis work at the prestigious National Centre for Audiology on the sound quality impact of frequency compression technology and has published on this topic and others. He gives regular lectures in the community, at conferences and scientific meetings, on television and at various academic institutions including University of Toronto, Western University, Conestoga College and The Audio Recording Academy. In addition to over a decade of clinical practice as an Audiologist, he is currently engaged as the Clinical Department Head for the largest independent hearing retailer in Ontario. |

Phyllis BensoussanHBSc. M.S. CCC Audiologist, reg. CASLPO Phyllis graduated from Brooklyn College CUNY with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science (Cum Laude Hons). She has more than 30 years of experience practicing as a clinical audiologist in New York and Toronto in both a hospital and clinic setting. In addition to helping hundreds of patients improve their hearing each year with cutting edge hearing aid technology she also lectures at community senior centres and residences as well as appearing regularly on radio. She is currently senior audiologist with Hearing Solutions. Phyllis is very proud that Hearing Solutions, which is the largest independent hearing retailer in Ontario has won the consumer choice award as best hearing clinic year after year. |

Daniel KariaMSc, BSc, HIS Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree at York University, and then completed the Hearing Instrument Specialist diploma program at Conestoga College. He started with Hearing Solutions as a Clinician over 4 years ago. After a couple years of practicing independently as a Hearing Instrument Specialist, he decided to further his education and take advantage of the opportunity to live, study, and work abroad. Daniel obtained an MSc in Audiological Science with distinction at the prestigious UCL Ear Institute in London, connected to The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, the largest of its kind in the UK. After completing his thesis on the effect of actively using hearing aids on those most at risk of developing dementia, he returned to Hearing Solutions, where he has been situated at our Oakville location. Daniel finds ever- evolving hearing aid technology to be fascinating and prides himself on finding the best solutions for his patients’ needs! |
