Behdad Pourdad
Audiologist
Meet Behdad, an experienced Audiologist at our clinic in the medical building at 960 Lawrence Avenue.
His journey into audiology began after witnessing the transformative impact of a cochlear implant activation session, inspiring him to change career paths and dedicate himself to this field. Behdad earned his BSc in Audiology at Shahid Beheshti Medical University in Iran and later completed an MClSc in Audiology at the University of Western Ontario.
A long-time advocate for hearing health, Behdad has supported a charity in Iran focused on addressing hearing difficulties. While he initially conducted on-site screenings for underserved populations, he now provides financial assistance to support the organization’s vital work from Canada.
Outside of work, Behdad enjoys spending time with his wife, often playing video games together, and staying active through sports like futsal and tennis.
